Curriculum - Science
Warrnambool East Primary School is a science specialist school and all students enjoy specialist science teaching in a school that lives and breathes science. There are classroom creatures such as axolotls and bearded dragons in every classroom, a superbly equipped science lab, a touch tank-home to local marine creatures and the opportunity to work alongside 'real' scientists from Deakin University. The partnership with Deakin University has enabled our science specialism to go from strength to strength and our students are now involved with the Fluker Post Project with Victoria University, The Seal the Loop Project with Melbourne Zoo and are representative on the Warrnambool City Council Community Advisory Group - Coastal Vulnerability Study.
