Curriculum - Student Achievements -Standards

Our school sets, reviews and evaluates Student Learning Targets annually. The targets are based on the premise that every child will progress at least one standard every year (Australian Curriculum). Setting student academic growth targets establishes high expectations for all learners and provides all students, regardless of their abilities and achievements with the challenge to excel.

Evidence:
2014 and 2013  DEECD Year 5 /6 Student Attitudes to School Survey - Above the State mean for all schools on every parameter.

2014 NAPLAN Achievements in Years 3 and 5 Reading and Numeracy are well above the expected level. (Intake Adjusted Data)

2012 NAPLAN results confirm that Warrnambool East Primary School students who sat Reading and Numeracy in years 3 and 5 whilst at our school achieved academic growth at or greater than students in all other schools. (My School Website)
